Second season with Diamond South and they remain the most honest program we've encountered. The fee sheet they hand you at tryouts is the fee you actually pay. Coach 1 told us at tryouts our son would split time at 2B and that's exactly what happened. After our nightmare with our previous program, this transparency is everything.

What sets them apart: monthly financial statements emailed to every family showing where dues go. Travel radius stayed within 2 hours as promised except for one national qualifier we voted on as a team. My only minor gripe is practice frequency dips in mid-summer.

We drove past three closer programs to be here and don't regret a mile of it. Development-focused, no daddy-ball politics, and the coaches actually communicate. Worth noting tryouts are genuinely competitive — they cut kids, so be prepared for that conversation.
