I'm writing this so the next family doesn't make our mistake. The $3,200 fee became $5,800 by season's end through endless add-ons. My son — who made the 'A team' at tryouts — watched two-thirds of every tournament from the bench while coach's kid and his friends played every inning. When I asked about it, I was told playing time 'is earned in practice' — practices my son never missed.

Communication was the biggest issue for us. Tournament schedules changed with 48 hours notice repeatedly. One weekend we drove to Macon to find out the team had withdrawn — nobody told the families. There are good kids and some decent assistant coaching here but the organization needs serious work.
